Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine’s Day! On this day when we celebrate love I want to share a story with you. Picture a 4-year-old version of Angela. Nutbrown 80s bangs reached just above my eyebrows and a cardboard graduation cap was perched atop my head. A grin stretched across my little face. I was smiling because I was at my preschool graduation, and they were playing my favorite song: Whitney Houston’s Greatest Love of All. Is it possible that I climbed on top of my preschool chair and belted out the words at the top of my little lungs while teachers watched in horror? Yes, that is entirely possible.

“Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all,” Whitney sang. It’s not just an 80s ballad. It is whole-heartedly, unabashedly, oh-so-hard-to-do TRUE! And that’s what the Goddesses of Radical Love remind us today. Loving ourselves is the greatest love of all, especially in a society strategically designed to make women hate ourselves for not being enough.

One of the most poignant gifts of my life has been finally learning to love myself fully, whole-heartedly, unabashedly. And now I’m offering one-on-one sessions to help you fully love yourself, too. Combining spiritual direction, coaching, and art therapy, I’m now taking on clients for 1:1 Awakening Sessions. If you ever struggle to fully love yourself, to honor your innate worth, I encourage you to consider booking a session. Simply respond to this email to receive $200 OFF 1:1 Awakening Sessions with me.

Now, climb up on your chair and belt out those words: “Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all!” Happy Valentine’s Day!
